Construction

The grain of the exterior drawer bottoms run from front to back. The exterior drawer bottoms are laid in a rabbet on the drawer fronts and nailed on the drawer sides and backs. Three hinges fasten the slant front to the desk interior. The feet and brass hardware have been replaced.
