The oblong, single-board top has a rounded edge and outset rounded corners, and is joined to its base by fasteners through four tapered battens on its underside, two square-ended set into each long rail, and two octangular-ended set into each short rail. The flat-arched skirts are tenoned and wood-pinned to the blocks atop the turned, tapered legs, which end in outset shod pad feet. Notes compiled by T. B. Lloyd from photographs supplied by Carlsen Galleries.
