ConstructionThe circular, one-piece top has a raised, molded edge and a cove molding at the transition from edge to underside. A cleat on its underside is tapered at each end, where it is fixed with two screws, and chamfered at its ends and sides. Doweled into the cleat is a tapering ring and cup-turned pedestal, into the cylindrical base of which are fitted three cabriole legs ending in snake feet. Examined by P. E.
