NotesThe combination of the ring and reel turnings before the tapered ends on the medial and central stretcher, the thickness of the reel turnings at the back of the side stretchers, and the squareness of the rear legs are features this chair shares with others made in Rhode Island. It is also very heavy, another characteristic of Rhode Island chairs. |
