ConstructionThe oblong, two-board top has a rounded edge and outset half-round corners, and is secured to its frame by screw pockets ? two inside each flat-arch-skirted rail. The rails are tenoned and double-wood-pinned to the rectangular blocks (chamfered at the top corner, inside the frame) atop the turned, tapering legs, which end in outset shod pad feet. Examined by P. E. Kane and J. N. Johnson, April 21, 2014; notes compiled by T. B. Lloyd. |
