On a number of occasions between 1791 and 1807 Ambrose Peck was paid for making coffins in Warren, Rhode Island.

The 1791 administration of the estate of Nathan Miller, Warren, shipwright, paid Ambros Peck's bill of 1.4.0 for a coffin and paid Curtis Cole his bill for 6 shillings assisting Ambrose Peck make the coffin in Warren Probate, vol. 2, p. 56-57, Warren Town Hall, R.I. The 1796 administration account of the estate of Elijah King, Warren, showed a charge of 18 shillings from Ambros Peck for a coffin in Warren Probate, vol. 2, p. 157 and 163 Warren Town Hall, R.I. The 1807 estate of Simeon Potter, late of Swansea, paid Ambrose Peck $25 for a coffin in Bristol Deeds, Wills, Inventories, Abstract, 1680-1808, p. 481, microfilm no. 0912005, Family History Library, Salt Lake City.
