Biography

In 1751 Azariah Tew was paid by the town of Jamestown for making a coffin for Sarah Fitton, described as an "Indian Squaw."(1) His wife Naomi, daughter Avis, and brother Henry are listed in his will written January 30, 1765 and proved March 25, 1765.(2)
