ConstructionThe oblong, two-board top has a rounded edge and outset, half-round corners, under which are multiple radial scribe lines. The top is joined to its flat-arched skirt by multiple screw pockets. There are two empty nail holes in one of the short rails. The rails are tenoned and twice-wood-pinned to the rectangular blocks atop the straight, turned, tapering legs, which end in outset pad feet. Examined by P. E. Kane, January 15, 2004; notes compiled by T. B. Lloyd. |
